It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wathor Ricardo Hardy (Smithfield, Virginia), who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wathor Otis Hardy and Cleo Shivers Hardy; his grandparents, David, Patty Shivers, Joel and Thelma Hardy; his father-in-law Plummer Jarrett, Jr.; and also Iris O. Jarrett.
He is survived by: his wife Arnette J. Hardy; his sons, Markal Hardy, Dwayne and Devin Jarrett; and his siblings, Darryl B. Hardy, Lorrie H. Tynes (Kelvin) and Angela Hardy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends.
