He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Griffith and Clersie Griffith of Raven, Virginia.; his siblings, Hershel, Roger Griffith and Shelvia Armes; and his wife Billie Cordle Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughter Pam Kitchen (John); his grandchildren, Caleb Kitchen and Lily Kitchen (DJ); and his brother Jerry Griffith (Doris) of Ohio.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the R. W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W Washington St, Suffolk, VA 23434). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Whiteheads Grove Baptist Church (18366 Benns Church Blvd, Smithfield, VA 23430). A burial was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Benns Church.
