She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Henry Wood and Nolia Meretta Turner Wood; her husband Woodrow Wilson Downing; her grandsons, Nicolas Perkins and Dustin Smith; and her sister Vivian Marshall.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen M. Perkins and Marsha D. Smith (Anthony); her grandchildren, Kelley, Bradley and Christopher; her great grandchildren, Hallie, Addison, Tyler, Alexis, Kaden and Finley; and her sisters, Juanita Greene and Rochelle Yoder (Gene).
