He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Langhorne, Sr. and Jennie G. Langhorne; his former wife Edna Young; his siblings, Julia Paulette, Nicholas Jr., Mildred Johnson and Claudette Eley; and his stepchildren, Alvin, Norman, Conrad, Donnell Young, Betty Peake and Glenda Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Lydia Maureen Johnson; his stepdaughters, Antoinette Gilchrist (LeRon) and Loretta Chamberliss; his siblings, Garland, Ernest Langhorne (Michelle), Geneva Beckett, Audrey Byrd (Louis) and Linda Ellis; his siblings-in-law, Geneva Langhorne, Deborah Johnson and Wallace Johnson Jr.; and also Ruth Moore.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shivers Funeral Chapel (12749 Courthouse Hwy, Smithfield, VA 23430). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt Nebo Baptist Church (5738 Colonial Trail E, Surry, VA 23883).
