It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Edward Kirk of Smithfield, Virginia, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dale Kirk and Stella Jane Foster Kirk. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Sauer Kirk; his daughters, Tracy Stern (Peter), Linda Dinga (Anthony) and Laura Copps (Greg); his grandchildren, Cole, Phoebe, Owen, Lauren, Ian, Kiley and Tyler; and his sister Elizabeth Cramer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Christ Episcopal Church.
