He was predeceased by: his parents, Effie Britt of Cofield and Jack Cooper of Cofield; and his brother Sherman Britt of Cofield, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Dannette Cooper; his children, Pamela Wells of Hampton, VA, Rosalind Denny (Micheal) of Hampton, VA, Chrissy Palmer (Garrick) of Stafford, VA, Devyani McDavid (Donta) of Newport News, VA, Shayla Johnson of Raleigh, NC, Trinette Johnson of Newport News, VA, Timothy Wooden (Demetra) of Niagara Falls, NY and Mark Johnson of Newport News, VA.; and his sisters, Bernice Badger (Dion) of Chevy Chase and Denise Wiggins of Hampton, VA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
