It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Lessard (Smithfield, Virginia), born in Franklin, New Hampshire, who passed away on January 6, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Robert Lessard; and his grandparents, Blanche Vallee Morin, Joseph Vallee, Peter Lessard and Aldora Lessard.

He is survived by: his mother Theresa Lessard Lefebvre; his wife Nancy Lessard; his children, Alyne Lessard-Freeman (Elizare), Matthew Lessard and Laureen Banasiak (Ben); his brothers, Ron Lessard (Sophia) and Marc Lessard; and his granddaughters, Johanna and Eliza Freeman.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, Isle of Wight Humane Society, or Christian Outreach in Smithfield in memory of Rick Lessard.
