She was predeceased by: her mother Goose Kindergarten; her significant other Russell R. Bailey Sr.; and her siblings, Aileen Ballard, Willie Morris Osby, Edith Foster, Donald Ballard, Richard "Dickie" Spratley Jr. and Gene Spratley.
She is survived by: her children, Lenore Jenkins Hampton (Samuel), Russell R. Bailey Jr. (Shauna), Gregory T. Bailey (Janeen), Arlene Eley Elberon (Joseph) and Darlene Byrd; and her sister Judy Lyttle Surry (James). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, family, neighbors and friends.
Until her health began to fail, she actively attended and served in ministry with the Adult Choir, the COVID-era Praise Team, Sunday School, Readers Guild Coordinator, After-School Tutoring Volunteer, Learning Center Volunteer, and the Couple's Ministry.
