He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Spady and Elizabeth Spady; his brother Lawrence Spady, Jr.; and his son Obed Spady, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Hazel King Spady; his children, Michael King (Lorri) and Missoura Goldberg (Lou); his grandchildren, Meredith Elliott (Brent), Kevin King (Kelsey), Marina Doggett (Raymond) and Danielle Kozinski (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ainsley, Jacob, Everett and Lee; and his brother James Spady.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Little's Funeral Home (1515 S Church St, Smithfield, VA 23430). A reception will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
