He was predeceased by: his parent Beatrice Parham; and his daughter Bernice Shameka Bradshaw Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Colia L. Daughtery, Alfredia Duck Neal (Tony) and Linwood A. Parham "Pooh Pooh"; his son-in-law Thomas Smith, Sr.; his grandchildren, Thomas Smith, Jr., Tobias Smith, DeVron Smith, Remy Smith, Yesterday Smith and Dashawn Smith; his great grandchild Kayden Smith; his nieces, Tiffany C. Duck and Kadisha D. Dempsey (Wayne); his great-nieces, Tremel Duck and Journii Dempsey; his aunt Betty Ashburn (Heywood); his uncle Samuel Duck (Lois); and his close friends, Vergie Williams, LaVern Smith, Curtis "Zack" Burrell of Alden, Cary, Floyd Davis and Gregory Tyrell Ashburn. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
