It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Eley Roff of Smithfield, Virginia, who passed away on November 14, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William R. Eley, Sr. and Margaret Nelms Eley; and her siblings, William R. Eley, Jr., Fredrick Nelms Eley and Gladys E. Patterson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles W. Roff, Sr.; her sons, Charles, Jr., Carl of Smithfield and Chuck (Jane) of Smithfield; and her sister Mary Catherine Foster of Windsor. She is also survived by 2 great grandsons and 1 great-great grandson; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Peggy 's memory for the group that has been a large part of her son Carl's life.
