She is survived by: her parents, Edward Barnes and Sara Barnes; her siblings, Cooper and Emma of Smithfield, VA.; her grandparents, Don, Sandy Spengeman of Franklin, VA, Collins and Denise Barnes of Smithfield, VA; and her aunts and uncles, Jeremy Spengeman, Justin Spengeman, Susan Spengeman, Josh, Jen Barnes, Ethan, Kaitlyn Barnes and Jeremy Barnes. She is also survived by many cousins, great aunts, and great uncles.
The family requests that COVID precautions are taken and masks are worn when inside the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Madeline's memory to Edmarc Hospice for Children in Portsmouth, VA.
