With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Loretta Celine Adelhock of Smithfield, Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Edward Connolly and Mary Gertrude Royals Connolly; her husband George Arthur Adelhock; and her brothers, William M. Connolly and Marshall A. Connolly.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta DeHart York (Greg), Bridget Anne Cayton (Ray) and Mark Edward DeHart (Lisa); her grandchildren, Kristen, Hayley (Josh), Hannah, Noah and Natalie; her great grandchildren, Chadwick (C. J.) and Monica; and her siblings, Julia C Mabry, Mary Elizabeth Sentman, Teresa A Gauvin, Paul E. Connolly Jr., James R. Connolly and Charles S Connally.
