It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorena Baker Lawrence (Smithfield, Virginia), born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on June 30, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Corbett Lawrence, Sr.; and her parents, Richard Bentley Baker and Elsie Mae Stephenson Baker. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Alex Day, Jackson, Julie Lawrence and Sarah Grace Cheek; and her sisters, Elsie Baker Tokaz (Tom) and MaryAnne Baker Moyer. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
