He is survived by: his wife JoeAnn E. Newby; his daughter Adriene L. Newby; his daughter-in-law Regina Newby; his grandchildren, Arielle Newby, Jonathan and Braxton Newby; his great grandchild Jayson Brown; his siblings, Mary Gibbs, Portia Green (Elmer), Sarah Bell, Rev. Dinah McCullough, Linda Bright (Stevie), Robert H. Williams (Lizzie), Rev. Willie Williams (Harriet), Melvin Williams, Ralph Williams (Amanda) and Clinton Williams; his sister-in-law Wanda Hill; his aunt Julie Keys; and his uncle Elder Henry L. Newby. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
