She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lamar Haynes Jr. and Lucille Crews Haynes; her son Paul Haynes Chapman; and her nephews, Paul Douglas Milby and Wyatt Malave.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Linwood Chapman Jr.; her sons, Lewis Linwood "Woody" Chapman III (Ann) and Britt Adams Chapman (Susan); her grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Kent and Cole; her great grandchild Ally; her sisters, Lois Haynes Tapner and Muriel Haynes Malave (Sam); and her nieces, Jeanette Malave Richardson and Sandra Malave Richards.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Christ Episcopal Church 111 S Church St. Smithfield, VA 23430.
