With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Delk Batten of Smithfield, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Merritt Delk and Emma Presson Delk; and her husband Tazewell Petron "Pete" Batten, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Lindy Wayne Batten (Marie) and Mitchell Delk Batten (Janet); her grandchildren, Kimberley, Kevin (Charlie) and Shelley B. Cofer (Billy); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Will and Anna.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Mill Swamp Baptist Church, 6329 Mill Swamp Rd, Ivor, VA 23866.
