It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Cox Greene of Smithfield, Virginia, who passed away on July 7, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Moses and Kate Griffin Cox; her husband Charles T. Greene; and her siblings, Donald Cox, Clinton Cox, Jimmy Cox, Dot Richardson and Jean Meacham.
She is survived by: her children, Shelley Greene Jones (Steve) of Zuni, VA and Mark Greene of Smithfield, VA; her granddaughters, Nicole Thomson (Ergo) of Zuni, VA and Lindsay Bowles (Stewart) of Lanexa, VA; her great grandchildren, Noah Searcy, Liam Searcy, Emma Bowles and Kloe Thomson; and her siblings, Kenneth Cox, Bobby Cox, Marion Cox, David Cox, Carolyn Moore and Kathy Helms. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
