He is survived by: his wife Annette Murphy Rodgers; his children, Addenna Cox and Ronald Ellis, Jr. (Penny); his grandchildren, Erica, Julia, Danielle, Ryan, Nina and Preston; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Leah, Wesley, Kindyl and Kyleigh; and his brother Chauncey Rodgers (Sharon).
