It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacob Oliver of Smithfield, Virginia, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Nicholas R. "Nick" Oliver; and his grandparents, Donna Von Schriltz, Lee Oliver and Curtis Gritton. He is survived by: his parents, Timothy Oliver (Toni) of Nashville and Rhonda Oliver of Smithfield, VA; his siblings, Brady Oliver of Brown County, Alexander Oliver of Brown County and Corey Edwards (Ashley) of Smithfield, VA; his grandparents, Kurt Von Schriltz of Brown County, Bobby, Peggy Miller of Smithfield, VA. and Orlene Gritton of Brown County; and his aunts and uncles, Debbie Oliver Dailey (Rob), Shannon Pope (Tom), Kari Dechenne (Jason), Terri McGuire (Kevin), Kim York (John), James L. Oliver, Robert Gritton (Cherlyne), Dan Gritton (Tracy) and John Gritton.
