He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Merrill Eason and Martha Penelope Pearce Eason. He is survived by: his wife Jessie Spivey Eason; his children, Tammy Shenk (Dale), Pamela Buskee and George Merrill Eason, Jr. (Patricia); his grandchildren, Michael Shenk (Meagan), Joshua Eason (Brittany), Jordan Eason (Leticia) and Jessica Taylor (Nicholas); his great grandchildren, Zander, Cole, Bryan, Landon, Jake, Gus and Salem; and his brother Donald Eason (Annette).

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Khedive Shrine, 645 Woodlake Drive, Chesapeake, VA 23320.
