Edith Simpson Jones Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Simpson Jones (Smithfield, Virginia), who passed away on May 12, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry Simpson and Stella Pearl Bullins Simpson; and her husband Fulton Jethro Jones. She is survived by: her children, Travis Jones, Kathy Brock, Sharon Foster (Mike), Brian Jones, Bev Dooley (Bill) and Dennis Jones (Dee); her grandchildren, Melissa, Sara, Leslie, Crystal, Brad, Katie, Lacey, Justin and Oscar; and her brothers, James (Diane) and Billy Simpson (Carla). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Mrs. Jones memory to Rescue Friends Church, PO Box 87, Rescue, VA 23424.
