It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Joseph Smutny of Smithfield, Virginia, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph Smutny and Alice Mary Wirthman Smutny. He is survived by: his wife Mun Chong Smutny; and his brother Robert Michael Smutny (Laura).
