With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dara Horvath Murphy (Smithfield, Virginia), who passed away on March 14, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jimmy Murphy; her children, John Blascak (Brannan), Justin Blascak, Col. Jeremy Blascak (Heather), Heather Van Buren (Stephen) and Courtney Horvath; her brother Jimmy Horvath (Jody); and her grandchildren, Cecilia, Emilia, Rivers and Rowan.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Church of the Good Shepherd, 300 Smithfield Blvd., Smithfield VA 23430 with Parish Community Life notated on the memo line.
