We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2021, at the age of 85, Bettye Rast Thomas of Smithfield, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Rast and Marie McNaron Rast; and her husband Claude Thomas, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Carrie Bruce, Susan Wallace (Mike) and Randy Thomas (Becky); her grandchildren, David (Kaitlin), Derek (Corrine), Noah, Zachary and Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Payton and Grayson.
