She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nicholas White and Margaret Bertha Vellines White; her husband Allen Duncan Gardner, Sr.; her daughter Margaret Gardner Cofield; her grandsons, John C. Cofield, Jr. and Jerrald C. Cofield; and her brothers, George T. White, Jr., Otis S. White and James W. White.
She is survived by: her children, Frances Gardner Turner (Russell), Linda Gardner Hatcher (Wilford), Allen D. Gardner, Jr., Bobby A. Gardner and Alvin R. Gardner (Rita); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Stevie, Cindy, Joey, Jeff, Trey, Jennifer, Derrick, Tia and Alex. She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Whitehead's Grove Building Fund.
