She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Birchette and Corrine Birchette; and her husband Herbert L. Diggs, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Herbert L. Diggs, Jr. (Winifred), Deborah Watson (Michael) of Surry, VA, Annie Marie Parker Windsor (George, Sr.) and Sandra Cobbs of Newport News, VA; and her siblings-in-law, Curtis Diggs, John Diggs of Smithfield, VA, Lewis Blount of Surry, VA, Mary Diggs of Smithfield, VA and Eloise Covington of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
