It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amparo Hernandez Jones of Smithfield, Virginia, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Octaviano Hernandez Garcia and Leonora Hernandez Garcia. She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Jones-Ives (Clayton) and Michelle Steele (Shawn); her grandchildren, Clayton and Claire Ives; and her sister Marcela Hernandez Hernandez.
