He is survived by: his parent Loretta Kownacki Ashford; his friend John Bonk Sr.; his wife Dorothy J. Prego; his daughter Holly Levi (Ronald) of Smithfield, Virginia; his grandchildren, Skylar and R. J.; his sisters, Mary Zane (Adam) of Pringle and Louise Gozick (Peter) of South River; and his nieces and nephews, Adam Zane, Amy Smulligan (Edward), Christopher Gozick (Christine), Corey Gozick (Dawn) and Hiedi Haight (Arnold).
