She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Harris and Harvey Harris; and her brother-in-law Ernest Timberlake. She is survived by: her husband John N. Thomas of Skipwith, VA; her children, Sharon Carrington (Clarence) of Skipwith, VA, Darryl Carrington of Conley, GA, Victor Thomas of East Orange, NJ and Brian Thomas (Cynthia) of East Orange, NJ; her grandchildren, Christopher, Torick, Jasmine Phillips, Jasmine Pope, Phebe and Brianna; her great grandchildren, Aubree, Tre'von, Rylee, Aubrey, Torick Jr. and Ayoki; her sister Doris Timberlake of Skipwith, VA; her niece Yvette Timberlake; and her friend Deborah Richardson. She is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Giles-Harris Funeral Home (1304 N Main St, Chase City, VA 23924).
