She was predeceased by: her parents, G. J. Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; her husbands, Thomas W. Owens and Richard Thomas Duke; and her sons, Roy E. Owens and Donald T. Owens.
She is survived by: her children, Judith O. Parrish (George), James C. "Jimbo" Owens and John R. Owens (Ann); her daughter-in-law Sue Owens; her grandchildren, Steve Owens, Lane Driver (Robert), John T. Owens (Stephanie), Kristina Owens (Ceildihe), Leigh Ann Griles (Bobby) and Brad Owens (Erin); and her brother James N. Mitchell. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
