It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodger Lawson of Singers Glen, Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Camsie Mae Foltz Lawson; his spouse Beverly Ann Lawson; his daughter Kathy Sue Dove; his siblings, Donnie Lawson, Ronnie Lawson and Danny Lawson; and his brother-in-law Pete Griffith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Burgoyne (Larry) of Dayton and Brenda Lawson Burgoyne (Lee) of Singers Glen; his son-in-law Glenn Dove of Singers Glen; his grandchildren, Mary Cifers (Mike), Steven Burgoyne (Danae), Wesley Burgoyne (Ashley), Tyler Burgoyne (Kelsey) and Justin Dove; his sisters, Patsy Krueger (Brian) of Strasburg, Robyn Griffith of Woodstock and Cindy Foltz (Earl) of Mt. Crawford; his sister-in-law Joyce Lawson of Harrisonburg; and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Lexi, Ryan, Carson, Adrienne, Daniel, Andrew and Abigail.
