He was predeceased by: his parents, John C. Sr. Roadcap and Daisy Crawford Roadcap; his son Robert Lincoln Roadcap, Jr.; and his siblings, John C. Roadcap, Jr., Ruth Bennington, Joe Roadcap, Doris Ward and Hessie Roadcap.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Persinger; his daughters, Darlene Roadcap Bowman of Harrisonburg and Vickie Lynn Roadcap of Singers Glen; his sister Jean Pennington of Arkansas; and his close friends, Franklin Dean, Larry Payne, Dave Minnick and Craig McClain.
