It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millard Wayne Pence of Singers Glen, Virginia, who passed away on September 28, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Pence and Helen Carr Pence; and his siblings, Catherine Shifflett, Roger Pence, Floyd Pence, Beverly Pence and Harold Pence.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Funkhouser Pence; his children, Eric Pence (Nichole) of Bristow, VA, Lisa Chappell (Joseph Pryce) and Landon of Singers Glen; his sisters, Anna Reedy of Broadway and Naomi Bowman of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Rebecca Pence, Jacob Pence and Jackson Pence; his stepgrandchildren, Caroline and Nicholas Buchanan; and his pets, Keanna, Oscar, Sassy, Diesel, Dixie and Shadow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
