He is survived by: his mother Ella Joan Leake Grandle of Harrisonburg; his children, Shane Grandle of Raleigh, NC, Harlee Grandle of Bridgewater and Baylee Laatz (Jason) of Staunton; his grandchildren, Marcellus Ambers, Marlee Ambers and Markeece Ambers; his sister Jill D. Howard; and his niece Jenny Howard of Harrisonburg.
