It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucy Evelyn Helmick of Singers Glen, Virginia, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Monterey "Ray" Helmick. She is survived by: her children, Monty Helmick (Monica) of Harrisonburg, Susan Lloyd (Kevin) of Singers Glen and Davy Polk (Teri) of New Market; her grandchildren, Cody Polk (Jenna) and Britny Polk (Kyle); her stepgrandchildren, Dustin Lloyd (Shelby), Derek Lloyd (Taylor), Micah Lloyd (Emily) and Ben Lloyd (Nichole); her great grandchildren, Parker, Oliver and Skylar; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Brennan, Ana and Stetson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
