He is survived by: his parents, Jim Shirkey and June Harpine Shirkey of Timberville; his spouse JoDe Norris; his daughter Lauryn Shirkey (Seth Comer) of Timberville; his stepdaughters, Maddie Nowland (Dylan Messersmith) of Wilmington, NC and Aubrey Nowland of Singers Glen; his sisters, Annette Conley of New Market and Melissa Mathias (Chad) of Timberville; his nieces, Jessica Pultz (Josh), Cassie Smith (Jonathon), Chloe Mathias and Claire Mathias; his great-nieces, Jenna Pultz and Brianna Smith; his great-nephew Jackson Pultz; his father-in-law Victor Norris; and his brothers-in-law, Toby Norris (Fran) and Todd Norris.
