It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Demastus of Singers Glen, Virginia, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Demastus and Vella Moyers Demastus; and his siblings, Mitzi Hallquist and David Demastus. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Simmons; his son Timothy Michael Demastus of Singers Glen; his siblings, Carris Lam (Jim) of Harrisonburg, Loretta June Fleming (Pete) of Timberville, Marsha Ritchie of Timberville, John Demastus of Harrisonburg and Bill Demastus (Beverly) of Timberville; and his sisters-in-law, Lori Ann Simmons and Janice Lynn Simmons of Harrisonburg. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
