He was predeceased by: his parent William Franklin; and his siblings, William Ritchie, Velma Ritchie Bobo, Viola Pennington, Wilbert Ritchie, Verda Sine, Paul "Russell" Ritchie, Mabel Turner, Ray Ritchie and Ralph Ritchie.
He is survived by: his parent Maggie Elizabeth Ritchie (Cleaver); his spouse Hazel Campbell; and his sister Evelyn Dove. He is also survived by five children, several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
