He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle Payne; and his siblings, Ricky Payne and Tammy Foley. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rexrode Payne; his children, Nina Allen (Eric) of Harrisonburg and Stacy Ford (Adrian Brown) of Harrisonburg; his sister Julia Mizell of Singers Glen; his grandchildren, Briana Ford (Jacob Capasso), Benjamin Strawderman and Dakota Ford; his great grandchildren, Greyson Foley and Mayson Foley; his nephew Jason Foley (Ashley); his great-nephew L. J. Foley; and also, Waylon Foley and Jason Foley.
