Oates-Summers (Hoover); his husband Gene of Singers Glen; his fiancé Cindy of Petersburg; his daughter Caylen Marie Oates of Elkton, VA; his grandparents, Olen J. Oates and Dottie of Petersburg; his sister Destanee Summers of Singers Glen; his stepsisters, Cassie Bell of Knoxville, TN and Brianna Bell of Petersburg; his brother Kyle Kermit Oates; his stepbrothers, Bradley Summers and Tripp Summers of Singers Glen; and his nieces, Amara Oates and Ella Roby. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
