She was predeceased by: her parents, Garnett Eugene and Vada Elizabeth Moyers Simmons; and her husband Kenneth Wayne Demastus. She is survived by: her son Timothy Michael Demastus; and her sisters, Janice Simmons and Lori Ann Simmons.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Donovan Memorial United Methodist Church, PO Box 3, Singers Glen, VA 22850.
