He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Webster and Bessie Lee Siever Dove; his wife Evelyn Ritchie Dove; his son Marvin Dove; his daughter-in-law Kathy Dove; and his siblings, Boyd Dove, David Dove and Nina May.
He is survived by: his children, Esther Dove Hurst (Curt) of Singers Glen, Galen Maurice Dove (Ellen) of Broadway, Glenn Dove of Singers Glen and Tony Franklin Dove (Donna) of Broadway; his daughter-in-law Juanita Dove of Timberville; and his siblings, Bob Dove of Linville, Kay Dove of Edinburg and Juanita Lantz of Broadway. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren;17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
