She was predeceased by: her father Leon Randolph; her husband John Wesley McLear, Jr.; her son John Wesley McLear, III; and her siblings, Leon Randolph Curry, Jr. and Judy Curry Collins.
She is survived by: her children, Linda McLear Oliva (Dick), Susan McLear Gentry (Jeff), Michael McLear (Pat) and Tim McLear (Vicki Almarode); her siblings, Shirley Curry Cobb (Harry) and Raymond Curry (Margaret); and her grandchildren, Kimberley McMahon, Justin McLear, Heather Tompkins, Richie Oliva, Jason Gentry, Ashley Gentry, Scott McLear, Taylor Swecker, Wesley McLear and Dustin McLear. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
