He was predeceased by: his parent Cletus McCoy; and his brother Danny McCoy. He is survived by: his parent Zethel Nauman McCoy; his wife Catherine Cubbage McCoy; his children, Robert W. McCoy, II (Megan) of Luray and Farrah Ann McCoy; and his stepsons, Shannon Fix of Shenandoah and Joshua Fix of Waynesboro. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
