He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen M. Strickler and Edith M. Strickler; his wife Billie Page Strickler; and his son Vincent. He is survived by: his son Rick (Sherri) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Brenton, John and Ryan; his son Gary (Sharon) of Shenandoah; his grandchildren, Chris and Natalie; his nephew Owen III; his niece Sharon Richmond; and also Owen of Emporia, VA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Shenandoah Fire & Rescue.
