He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenzie Barrett and Grace Elizabeth Thompson Dofflemyer; his wife Jane Luce Dofflemyer; his son Lee Dofflemyer; his brother Paul Dofflemyer; his brother-in-law Gene Rhodes; and his daughter-in-law Vicki Greene.
He is survived by: his sons, Skip Dofflemyer (Karla) of Shenandoah, Raymond Dofflemyer (Tina) of Elkton and Scott Dofflemyer (Roxanne) of Shenandoah; his sisters, Wanda Dalton (James) of North Carolina and Pamley Rhodes of Elkton; his grandsons, Eric Sours, Brandon Dofflemyer of Ryan Dofflemyer, R. J, Tanner Dofflemyer, John Dofflemyer and Jacob Dofflemyer; his close friend Sylvia Helms; his siblings-in-law, John Luce, Bill Hibler and Virginia Kirk; and also Doug Gochenour. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
