He was predeceased by: his parent Claude Gilchrist. He is survived by: his parent Lois; his spouse Sue Ellen Christian; his sister Lexie Gilchrist of Smithfield, Texas; his aunt Jeannie Apel (Mel) of San Antonio, Texas; and his sister-in-law Virginia Tierney of Waynesboro, Virginia.
