He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl and Gladys May Byrd (Breeden); his daughter Jennifer Lee Byrd Rose; his granddaughter Jenna Rose; and his siblings, Wayne Byrd and Deborah Lou Harlow.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Kay Saylor; his granddaughter Joana Rose (Hunter Lam); his great grandchildren, Dallas and Rosalie Lam; his sister Gwennie Shiner; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Saylor and Ellen Koontz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church, 300 Shenandoah Ave., Shenandoah, VA 22849.
