He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Christoff Hartfield and Juliana Bertha Miller Hartfield. He is survived by: his wife Faye Edna Johnson Hartfield; his daughter Sylvia Lynn Dickerson (Paul) of Melbourne, Florida; his grandson Aaron Stiff of Merritt Island, Florida; and his great grandchildren, Lillian Rose Stiff and Rita Abbelien Murray Stiff.
